Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru has teamed up with five resorts in Baa Atoll for Maldives’ first-of-its-kind gourmet extravaganza, this year’s inaugural Baa Atoll Summer Festival. From Friday 20 July, each of the six participating resorts will welcome guests from the other resorts for a special set dinner menu on a designated night, for two consecutive weeks.

Staying at Landaa Giraavaru during the festival? With each ‘dine around’ just a short speedboat ride away, you may participate in as many evening events as you like while checking out the ‘island scene’ on some of the most beautiful properties in the country, including:

  • Saturday 21 & 28 July – Japanese Tasting Menu at Amilla Fushi
  • Sunday, 22 & 29 July – ‘Blu’ Italian Tasting Menu at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru
  • Monday 23 & 30th July – Cantonese Tasting Menu at Finolhu
  • Tuesday 24 & 31 July – Royal Thai Tasting Menu at Dusit Thani
  • Wednesday 25 July & 1 August – Maldivian Asian Fusion at Soneva Fushi
  • Thursday 26 July & 2 August – Modern Asian at Vakkaru Maldives

Each tasting menu is priced at USD 120 (+ taxes) per person per night with kids’ menus also available. Return speedboat transfers to each resort are a mere USD 25 (+ taxes) per person per night.

The festival kicks off with a cocktail event at each of the participating resorts on 20 July 2018, and ends on 3 August 2018 with all the teams congregating on a sandbank for a Catamaran Regatta. Caprese Moderna

Tempted? Open to all guests, Chef Ciro D’Amico’s 4-course slice of Italian heaven will feature such delights as Caprese Moderna (Burrata, candied heirloom tomato, lemon zest); Risotto all’Aragosta (Creamy red pepper risotto, Maldivian lobster); Acqua Pazza (Poached Baa Atoll white snapper, white wine, tomato concasse, black olives, potatoes and dehydrated spinach); and Guancia di Vitello (Braised veal cheek, glazed vegetables, rosemary jus).
